The Trump era has taught me so much about America's institutions. While I want to believe that people...such as Federal Reserve leaders...are those who share the belief in America's success--even if they have a different path to get there--former NY Fed President Bill Dudley shows this isn't true.
He believes that Trump's re-election--and by extension, the economic success that you and I have seen in recent years--is "...a threat to the U.S. and global economy, to the Fed’s independence and its ability to achieve its employment and inflation objectives." In other words, he's fine with you losing your job and having to struggle to survive, in order to achieve his "employment" and "inflation objectives. In short, he wants to collapse the economy because he doesn't agree with President Trump. He doesn't care if it costs you your job, or your child his future. So the next time you hear Elizabeth Warren, Joe Biden, Ana Navarro, and Justin Amash talking about "America," just remember they're willing to sacrifice your future for their own personal benefit.
